Revolutionizing Urban-Rural Firefighting

Welcome to our specialized website, a hub designed to enhance firefighting capabilities, particularly for urban-rural fire departments. These departments, forming the majority of our nation's firefighting force, face escalating challenges like efficiency, staffing, and funding. In today's environment, they need every advantage they can get.

The latest innovation addressing these challenges is vacuum apparatus, with Firovac™ by Reberland Equipment Inc. leading the charge. This system, far surpassing a "primer pump," utilizes a large-scale mechanism that extracts air from the water tank, loading water at 1000-1500 gpm, then reverses the airflow to pressure unload water at 1500-2000 gpm. This impressive feat is achieved with just one truck and 1-2 personnel, making fire tankers more efficient than ever. No other unit or personnel are needed to supply the maximum water with minimum resources! Plus, initial setup time is faster, and the ability to tap into nearby static sources significantly accelerates water delivery.

Countless engineering hours went into developing this system, exclusively for use in fire service. While vacuum is not a new concept in industries outside fire service, we've ensured NFPA compliance, safety, ease of operation, compatibility with other systems, quality, and serviceability. Our patented baffle and vent system adheres to NFPA requirements for water tank partitions:

  1. Containment method, which confines water in smaller spaces within the tank, OR

  2. Dynamic method, designed to "disrupt its momentum by changing its direction of motion." This involves an arrangement designed to turn the water into a turbulent motion, absorbing much of its own energy.

Firovac's patented baffling system utilizes the dynamic method, with no flat surfaces inside the tank for water to "slap" against, thus the turbulent motion of the moving water absorbs its own energy.

Our mission isn't just to sell fire trucks or invent something new. We aim to enhance water supply with an efficient, uncomplicated system. Vacuum apparatus is revolutionizing the culture of urban/rural firefighting.

As quoted in "When Smart People Fail," (Simon & Schuster) (Reader's Digest Points to Ponder), "I don't divide the world into the weak and the strong, or the successes and the failures... I divide the world into learners and non learners."

Why should non-hydrant areas function the same as hydrant-equipped areas? Firovac surpasses conventional apparatus capabilities and propels us into the next generation of performance. Are you ready to explore?
