| Chief Daulas said that he is not interested in an aluminum tank because of “dissimilar metals.” He stated that you test water for hardness, which are iron and other metals. Those dissimilar metals will cause rapid corrosion to aluminum if left unprotected. “I learned this in my industrial days” he stated.
